What Our Patients Say!

Needed some new glasses and already had eye exam at place I used for years. Called to see if I got there at 4:30, would it be enough time to complete process. I was assured it would be, when I got there, Abraham waited on me. He was fantastic! He helped with my selection, adjusting glasses that I may try on to ensure a correct fit. When I decided, he quickly priced them and was very informative about my prescription. From ordering and creating the glasses in 15 min while I waited, he explained things the optometrist I'd been with for 12 yrs never did. And the process and time he spent making them and fitting them was over and above! I have found a new optometrist to stay.

A comprehensive eye exam checks your vision and eye health. It includes vision testing, prescription updates, and screenings for eye conditions like glaucoma and cataracts.

Adults should have an eye exam every 1–2 years. Children, seniors, and people with vision issues may need annual checkups.

Your eye exam includes tests like visual acuity, refraction, retinoscopy, eye pressure, and peripheral vision to assess your eyesight and detect issues early.

A typical eye exam takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your eye health and if extra testing is needed.

Yes! After your exam, you’ll receive a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. We offer a wide selection right at Village Optical.

Eye dilation may be recommended to get a better view of your retina. It’s painless and helps detect hidden eye problems.

If you experience blurry vision, eye strain, headaches, or trouble seeing at night, it’s time to schedule an eye exam.

Most vision plans cover routine eye exams. We accept major insurance providers and offer affordable options for self-pay patients.

Yes! Children’s eye exams help detect vision issues early. We recommend exams at age 6 months, 3 years, and before school starts.

Appointments are preferred for faster service, but walk-ins are welcome at Village Optical.
